What is your point on saying removal of the Chairman’s vote is “a very clear shift in the control of the company”?

It must be tough living your lives with so much negativity in everything you see.

When I filled in my proxy, I took it to mean that removing a Jien Jilin representative’s casting vote was diminishing JJ’s influence at the Directors level; nothing to do with a shift in control of the company.

Maybe LBE taking the veto vote away from the Chairman of the Board was to prevent them from having control in the event of a meeting that could be deadlocked at 50-50. The fourth director must act as an independent according to the deal, as stated in the press release of April 14, 2009.
