Liberty Mines Announces Appointment of Chris Stewart as CEO
Edmonton, Alberta CANADA, May 17, 2011 /FSC/ - Liberty Mines Inc. (LBE - TSX), today announced the formal appointment of Chris Stewart as CEO, effective May 14, 2011.
Mr. Richardson former Interim CEO commented that "Mr. Stewart has been gradually becoming more involved in the affairs of the Company as he completed his final commitments with his former employer and I am personally delighted that he will be bringing his wealth of mining company operations experience to bear on Liberty's situation. Now he is fully committed to Liberty and I will be pleased to be assisting him in a transition process to ensure that his start is as smooth and positive as possible."
Liberty is also pleased to announce that it is relocating its Head Office to Toronto. The new office location will be 5775 Yonge Street, Suite 1210 and will be effective as from June 15. Formal approval of the change of Head Office will be presented to the annual and special meeting of shareholders to be held in Toronto on June 28, of which formal Notice will be mailed in about two weeks time.
