Cal, if we go any further on this thread we should probably take it over to the Off Topic Forum, but I do feel a need to state a short reply here.  Your post starts out with:  "Hello Bill" and just to be sure that no one is confused about that post I need to be clear that the reply indicated in your post must be from another "Bill".  The reply you have from "Bill" is from someone other than me, okiedo.

I am a resident of Nevada, for the past 29 years this month.  

Although the reply from "Bill" is not from me I will make a short comment to the question.  I live in Northern Nevada and it is worlds apart from events in Clark County ( Las Vegs and surroundings ).  Washoe County, Nevada ( Reno/Sparks ) has traditionally been more Conservative than Liberal Clark County.. but that has changed markedly as a result of a huge influx of out of state Immigrants to Nevada including a large per cent from neighboring California.  I will just start with that and take the rest of my reply over to the Off Topic Forum.  Main Point:  I am NOT the "Bill" mentioned in your post.   Please do not reply here on the Discussion Forum.  See you over on OTF.  Bill  ( okiedo )
