I'll bite on that challenge, John.  Just a guess, but I think that if Musk announced a deal with LAC that the LAC Share Price would double within a couple of weeks and be North of $10 within 6 weeks or sooner, maybe a lot sooner.   Interesting development with Musk today.  He is furious at California for not letting his plant go back into operation and has basically claimed he is through with California and is contemplating moving to Nevada or another state.  Musk seems to like Nevada.  The legislature made a sweetheart deal for his Gigafactory so he has good reason to be in love with Nevada.  That being said, it would be a very convenient short range transportation issue if Musk made a deal with LAC for Lithium Carbonate/ Lithium Hydroxide to have it shipped from Thacker Pass to his Gigafactory just East of Sparks, Nevada.   Musks frustration with the county and state governments in California may just be the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak.... then again it may just be a moment of intense Musk frustration and theatrics that turn out to be a temper tantrum and nothing else.  One thing is for sure:  Musk won't be silent about his decision.  Silence is not a personality characteristic of Elon Musk.  He choose Nevada once before and lightning can strike twice.  We will have a front row seat here in Nevada.
