It would seem to be very logical to have that concern over the future of resuming construction there at Cauchari-Olaroz in view of the Covid-19 situation.  LAC has expressed that they are putting the safety of the workers first so it would not be consistent with that expression to resume construction activities fully just now.  No one knows how long the delay will be, but I suspect, Cal, that your translation of Al's post is correct.

Just one more economic kick in the teeth re: Covid-19.  The good news, if you can call it that, is that tremendous efforts are being expended world wide on the search for Therapeutics and/or Vaccines that will effectively turn this situation around.  The medical community is utilizing vast resources of money and intellectual efforts to resolve this terrible situation.  Eventually those efforts and expeditures will pay off... it is the "eventually" part of that statment that is the kicker.

Once someone does come up with a solution then we still have to go through the ramp up of manufacturing and distributing vast amounts of that solution to the world's population.  A task of truly monumental proportions in it's own right.

These are truly tough times in "the course of human events".  okiedo
