Cal, that is the only thing I can figure on this huge spike in share price... there is no solid "Good" news behind it... only the suggestion that things are terribly going bad for Minera Exar in Argentina.  I haven't seen the amounts that are being purchased, but big blocks would suggest institutional buying so I bet it is just due to a large number of small buys by the Robin Hood crowd.

If I were King of the World I would brand the statements from that Argentine leftist newpaper as completely false... but since I don't have that kind of power we have to wait and see what, if anything, comes out of the press reports from Argentina.  I was not impressed with the comanies response.  Their wording suggested to me they were hiding something of material importance.

On the other hand, if those charges turn out to be true it just shows the wisdom of LAC management in their efforts to get out from under the Argentine Cauchari-Olaroz deal by selling off LAC's ownership in pieces in order to finance their expected greater deal at Thacker Pass.

The company CEO has already put out a statement earlier this year, if I remember correctly that he was not averse to selling off the rest of LAC's ownership of Cauchari-Olaroz in order to focus on Thacker Pass.
