Pavel, as per usual, you make a great point. LAC Volume inreased in an astounding amount.
Just for comparison purposes and to use as a future reference for the day when LAC makes a similar announcement of a deal to supply some big lithium manufacturer, please not the following about what happened with PLL:
PLL's Average Daily Volume... prior to today: 96,677 Shares
PLL's Volume Today ( 28 September 2020 )........ 48,387,532 Shares
Volume Increase today vs the previous ADV: Just over 500 X the previous Average Daily Volume
That is what happens to a mining stock on a day where you have news of a huge contract. Of course the Share Price on PPL will probably take a big hit tomorrow or later this week from Profit Taking, but the effect on Share Price of such a contract is undeniable. It should be noted that for PPL, today, the Closing Price was $37 on the nose, but the Intraday High was $54.50. The previous close last week was: $11.00. It opened this morning at: $36.98, just 2 cents under it's closing price this afternoon.
IF the Reno Lab is successful with developing that processing of lithium clay, as the company assures that it will be, then it is just a matter of time before LAC will have it's own 28 September like day to ride the rocket on the Share Price.
It will be interesting to see what happens with the Share Price for PPL in the next weeks and months as an instruction manual to present day LAC investors for what to expect on our own "Rocket Day" and its immediate aftermath... again, sort of a template to LAC investors for the future ride.
