You are actually bit incorrect on this one. I do admire Musk’s ability to walk on the very narrow line, which separates a legitimate business from a fraud. Not that he is doing something illegal (at least the stuff I am aware of is not illegal), maybe just bit  unethical. And I really do enjoy all the accounting tricks, he has so far used to cook TSLA accounting books and got away with that. What I do not really support is the “EV revolution”  and his public appearances. He presents all sort of BS and people applaud him.

If someone is able to economically destroy the US (apart of course your own government), Musk can do that. China should not bother with ships and rockets, that is good for Taiwan. Si should consider to implement arrays of entrepreneurs like Musk into the US economy. The subsequent misallocation of the capital would cause total collapse of US financial system
