Excellent question, trades82.  I haven't a clue. Bangchak is a Thailand corporation and used to be Bangchak Petroleum and used to be state owned.  They changed their name 2 or 3 years ago supposedly to reflect a broader scope than just petroleum and on the company web site they are promoting that they are the "Leading Asian Greenovation Group for a Sustainable Future".  They really stress their "Greeness", so I would think that investment in lithium mining is a no brainer as part of that "Sustainable Future" palabra.  Who knows?  Glad you stimulated the thought, maybe someone has a more definitive answer.
