This is just a general description on Wikki, but I would point that out to your attention. Should this standard be implemented, then if effectively means the end of ICE engines in EU. What I have read about that, to comply with that is not really possible as it goes beyond physical limits of current engines. Considering how much is the economy depend on the auto industry, it also may mean the end of EU itself. Either way, EU is going to become the largest EV market.
