Firstly, my comments was not an investment advice, just something to consider :-)

Secondly I would like to clarify, that it was not about buying puts. Quite opposite: to sell those puts ("sell to open" is IMHO the proper terminology). Ie to give someone else an opportunity sell LAC shares at $10/share and of course collect the premium.
