Thanks for the initial feedback ElithX.  Regarding why the removal of the battery factory I suspect your proposed reason #2 is correct.  I noted this change in direction in LAC's August 7th letter to the Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development.  LAC said they were only going to handle the first two of four steps in battery production and that everything else would be shipped to "Asia".   I wonder if Ganfeng is just going to fund a large percentage of TP phase 1 via a low interest loan in return for full offtake rights @ TP.  LAC now has an extra $100M to contribute their ~20%.  I expect a press release tomorrow morning.  I hope it says something more than announcing the publication of the final EIS but I suspect it won't say much.
