Thank you for the "Welcome" to the board. Yes, I have been a lurker for some time to get a feel for the board. I hope to offer what I might learn, and learn from what others have to offer. I was in fact trying to participate on another board, and if anyone here is familiar with it, things were becoming difficult....and "cult" might be accurate. In any event I look forward to being a small part of what goes on here. As for LAC, I have tried to learn as much as I can beyond the public relations presentations. I have been in the heavy construction business and have been involved in mining, from simple gravel pits to drilling, blasting, crushing and processing various native rock. Certainly not the same as brine or spodumene mining/processing for lithium, but I believe that I can appreciate the extraction process. What I can't find is any success that the mining industry has had with clay soils. Of course, soft rock would be a layup if there was a good lithium content per ton. Electric power and especially batteries will need to be our future, if we want to have a future.
