Agree with both you and Pavel in regard to Joe Lowry's shortcomings... and, of course, his strength. I confess I have pretty much reached the "all I can stand" level that Pavel alludes to re: Joe. His ego gets in the way of his message. On the other hand, he has a right to have that huge big head of his, because his knowledge is indeed encyclopedic when it comes to the lithium mining industry. I posted a link to an article not long ago by another person commenting on the lithium mining industry and my conclusion was that the individual featured in that article said more in 5 minutes than Joe could say in an hour. Not because Joe couldn't condense and summarize his information, but because Joe was more interested in diluting the wheat with a whole lot of chaff... what he considered as "entertainment" value.
I think this is why Pavel asked for someone to listen to Joe's most recent offering and summarize the good points so that Pavel wouldn't have to sift through all of the baloney. I sympathize with Pavel in that respect because I also quit tuning in on all of the latest Pod Casts from Mr. Lowry precisely for the reasons that Pavel mentioned. It is a waste of time to sit there and sift through all of the Joe Lowry promotional testimony just to glean out the solid information. I'm sorry to have come to that conclusion, but I share Pavel's disdain for the way Joe seems obligated to self promotion first now and putting the sharing of information as a second priority. I wish I had more information from the fellow I cited in an earlier post by me for comparison to Joe Lowry. It wasn't a comparison favorable to Mr. Lowry, and that is sad an unfortunate because I had previously been a long time Lowry supporter. In my opinion Joe has overemphasized Joe in his more recent offerings and at the expense of quality.
If Joe would only limit his entertainment portion to the first 5 minutes and the last 5 minutes of his total presentation then I think he might bring back some, or maybe all, of the disaffected former followers. Make it sort of like a sandwich, Joe. Bread on the outside, top and bottom, and all the meat and good stuff in the middle. Just a suggestion. I have nothing but respect for the knowledge Mr. Lowry has. I think he only needs to fine tune his presentation and not mix the meat with the bread in the same paragraphs. When giving meat and potatoes then focus only on meat and potatoes. When serving up breat and circuses then focus only on bread and the circus.
