Do you mean kWh?  36,000 kWh is one huge amount spread out over a year.  Do you really use 3,000 kWh per month?  Just asking.  Regardless, its a good move to go with home generation in many locals, as long as the latitude and other local conditions allow for sufficient sunshine.  Having said that as a disclaimer it should be pointed out that solar is being used at some latitudes that might otherwise not be readily associated by most people as ideal locations for solar.  Sometimes modifications are made to concentrate the available light so as to make possible and practical what otherwise might not seem to be so.  Necessity has always been the mother of invention.  Best wishes for a very successful result with your home!   Okiedo
