Thanks for finding this. I agree with others that it is quite well balanced. Three things that stuck out to me were:
1. LAC has offered to pay up to $12 million to relocate the K8 school due to road safety concerns;
2. They have hired a lobbyist in Washington; and
3. I see the timeline continue to slip to the right. Recently it's gone from end 2021 to early 2022 to “Our hope is that in the first half of next year, we’re moving forward,”.
Lots of new or more complete information in the article. My feeling is that the mine will be fully approved, with construction starting next summer, and then initial production mid 2024, so about 6 months later than I had hoped. I can wait another 6 months for my payday.
