If anyone is interested in doing some primary research on the permitting process for Thacker Pass, apparently there are a number of documents available to the public through the NDEP. 

Go to  http://documentviewerpublic.ndep.nv.gov, create an account, which the NDEP will then verify, and then you can use Lithium Nevada’s permit number for Thacker Pass, AP14794334, to search. 

To be honest, I’ve tried this with limited success but perhaps smarter people than me will have more luck given this as a starting point. Good luck and please share what you find.
