That's unfortunate about failing with options. I've only lost greater gains and that's not a loss. This is why purchasing options has one guarantee. You just spent money. The better the deal (cheaper price) the less likely you are to succeed.

I don't find charts useful either. Especially these days. Option trading is best with volatility and uncertainty.
