It looks like a pretty tiny site, at least by the scale of the photos. And to see it's growth so slow over a 45 year period means there must be a lot of lithium with a long processing time if they can use such Mass for so long.

My vision of the scale is probably off though, but seems like a pretty low impact area to begin with. I swear we have quarries around here that are much larger and deeper
