An acquaintance of mine who lives in McDermitt thought it was interesting there was a drilling company in Oct. '21 sampling the Oregon side of the McDermitt caldera. They weren't finding the high concentration levels of lithium as on the southern side. This was Jindallee which also has a Clayton Valley resource. https://www.jindalee.net/site/projects/usa/us-lithium
I haven't researched mining claims and who owns them in and around the caldera.
DLE may end up as a great process. It's certainly new which says it will have many years ahead to develop. But this doesn't mean the tried and true methods used today will have any issues selling Lithium. I do own LLKKF. It's definitely seen a spike. I'll be interested in how it scales. I've brought up the idea of Phase III in TP in the past. There are far more areas within the caldera that have not been drilled. Far more like 95% still to explore. It seems LAC has a path to success with many opportunities right here in TP. I wonder if they could team up with different companies with different technologies in future phases.
