Agree, ProsserP, but.... in the market place PERCEPTION trumps Reality, at least in the short run.  A brief perception that Tesla would be buy LAC might have a Roman Candle effect on the share price of LAC.  

 Perception can make for big time profits or big time losses, just depens on how or when the investor pulls the trigger.
