I recommend this article for a truly balanced view of the opposing positions of some Native Americans vs LAC viz a viz the proposed Thacker Pass lithium mine. I believe this article is one of the most balanced articles I have come across in what is now years of reading different articles about this subject. Towards the end of the article the writer mentions several of the outreach efforts of LAC towards the Native Americans who would be affected by Thacker Pass, some of those efforts you might not have previous cognition about. Bottom line: one of the best articles available about Thacker Pass, LAC and the struggle on both sides of the controversy.
