You are right that current technology does not last. For stationary storage of power, LI batteries will probably be too expensive, because here the weight is not crucial. As I see it, the strength of LI is that it is light and therefore suitable for EV etc. What will be crucial for Lac SP is the need over the next 5 to 10 years, and it is difficult to predict. It's pure guesswork, but there the curve will probably rise sharply over the next 3 years and then probably flatten out to a more normal level, because they all screw up production. If we just look at a price above USD 30,000, there will still be reasonable earnings, and I see that as low.
Therefore, I can not understand these relapses in the course at all. Either we are thinking completely wrong, or there is a struggle going on to acquire cheap stocks using shorting and algorithm trading. I do not know why, but I am pretty calm on all down days do not bother to trade a single stock.
