Umicore will build a C$1.5b CAM plant in Kingston, Ontario. More evidence that the North American EV battery supply chain is well on its way. Pretty much all of these new plants will take several years to build, but starting in 2025 the NA demand for CAMs and graphite for the anodes will be big and growing rapidly. Great for any battery materials projects that will be ready around that time.
