Chief Judge Miranda M. Du was nominated by President Barack Obama and took the oath of office on April 23, 2012.

Judge Du was born in Viet Nam and left with her family by boat when she was eight years old. Judge Du and her family immigrated to the United States and ultimately settled in Oakland, California. Judge Du graduated with honors in History and Economics from the University of California, Davis. She obtained her JD from the University of California, Berkeley, Berkeley School of Law in May 1994.

Obviously, she is an outstanding individual regardless if people agree with her decisions in the past or not.

The world is on Fire. Temperatures are ranging above 100 F in many places on the continents. Some think that weather and climate change do not colorate. Do they?  President Biden will unleash executive actions to combat climate change and support green energies.

 It is not important what you and I think. Maybe in the distant future judges will be Artificial Intelligence, but as a Human – all those events will subconsciously affect Judge Du . Will they?  I think LAC has a 99%  to get a favorite decision.
