It is my understanding that Lithium Nevada has mining claims on a significantly larger area within the McDermitt Caldera than just the currently proposed Thacker Pass site. The LAC website (in the Thacker Pass section under Project Details) shows that there are at least 4 additional sites of known lithium mineralization within their claim area, so maybe they are looking into going on ahead with building out in those areas as well? Huzzah for government loan financing!?
