My question is : Why did LAC's leagal team solely request the oral argument since none of the counterparts of plaintiff did so? If they didn't request it, will the judge's final decision come out earlier? Does the request imply their lack of confidence in their written reply to the court?

LOL, I'm just kidding. I know this is not a proper question and they will not answer it even if you really ask them this question somehow.
