“…Average battery degradation over 6.5 years of use is 13.5%, but some models show higher degradation. Some examples of the 2014 Nissan Leaf saw a 24% degradation in six years, another example is the 2017 BMW i3, where research found a 16% degradation in about three years. Also worth noting are several Tesla Model S from 2015, which have degraded 10 percent in four and a half years.” 

Pavel , according to some engineers, you do not suppose to charge the battery to 100%, They recommend 95-98%, which would be beneficial for battery longevity. There are new improvements that will increase battery life, so hope the future will be better  in that area, but for now, hmm

 In meantime even VW CEO announced that building a battery plant in Europe does not make business sense since energy cost is so high.  Welcome to US.
