Apart of the last article. I am fully on board with you. Regarding the Geopolitical issues, my view is that it would be very difficult to let Russia win.

Not, that I am particular friend of Ukraine, but what Russia did was an evil barbarian act, which was executed on Russian speaking residents of eastern Ukraine.

The easiest way of course is to give Russia what they want, i.e. eastern Ukraine and have a peace, but what if few years down the road, they decide, that they want Kiev? And is Kiev then be the last requirement or shall we move the Russian border all the way to the German border just for the sake of "peace"? I guess, from Nevada none of above really matter, but in my case, I need to take this bit personally. After all, those 1600km are not that far away :-)
