I thought, that the fact that entire caldera is full of Lithium is a well known fact. In fact, I vaguely remember, that someone else is trying to build a mine on "the other side" of caldera.

IMHO, there may be more than "Phase 2", but it all depends on negotiation of the "environmental impact" and on the assumption, that lithium batteries are going to stay with us longer.

My bet is, that in about 2030, we going to reach a peak in the EV penetration (something 30% of the global volume). And then the greenwashes may realize, that labelling EVs as a green technology was not entirely appropriate. And I hope, that LAC will reach is full financial potential prior that discovery, so I can cash out and go fishing, while riding some large diesel SUV….
