Did you say:  "Solid State"?   Did you say:  "Increased Energy Density"?  OK, then how about "Increased Cycle Life"?

When it comes to the question of how to make Lithium Ion Batteries better there are a ton of companies working on that situation now.  Their success just means more lithium needed to make these better and better batteries and that translates to a higher lithium demand.  Good for LAC and good for LAAC.

So, what is the latest news in the area of more improved lithium batteries?  Well, at least one part of that news (and only one part, because there are so many companies that are players in this area) comes from a company known as Ampcera.

 

Ampcera promotes its battery as graphite anodeless and having a Life Cycle of 5,000 Cycles and also to be fast charging.  They are working on better energy density as well.  It is a story in evolution, but the promise of better and better Lithium Ion Battery Technology becomes more real every day. Ampcera is just one chapter in that evolution, but take a look at that chapter:
