Li2CO3, battery grade is now almost 7% YTD, at least according China spot data and despite the growth of EV sales, despite all those stupid “battery storage projects" and despite solar panels and battery storage deployment growth, there is no shortage of Lithium to be seen.

It would be nice to dig out an opinion of some “industry veteran” to tell us, how long this depression is going to last. My unqualified bet is, till the end of the year, if not longer. IMHO LAC should revise its chart from the presentation about the lithium shortage outlook.
