Will Prowse is an expert on DIY solar systems, batteries and solar generators.  He is a brilliant young man and I always consider his reviews when I am thinking about buying a new solar generator.  He is not an automotive expert, at least that is not an area where he normally provides opinions, but this video branches out into his opinions on EVs vs Plug In Hybrids vs ICE vehicles.  I think you will either find his opinions interesting or you will find them objective, depending upon your particular bias.  I found his opinions quite interesting throughout this video:
