As I see it now, we got following problems:
- Garbage raw material from Africa
- Supply chain is overloaded by inventory.
- EVs are scalling back in EU and North America.
- LAAC does not produce (yet) battery grade raw material
What we should looking for is, how much of kWh of various batteries were produced. We should not care if the battery is installed in a battery pack or Model 3 or ID. As long as production of battery cells goes up, LAC/LAAC should benefit. But $11/kg of battery grade raw material is no longer encouraging.
