Thanks, Pavel. Your negative prognosis is defended by you with point by point reasons and that is why you are still on this message board. It isn't much "fun" to read how lousy one's investment is doing, but better that than to proceed in only denial of the information. You have always provided a much needed circumspection of LAC and no one could ever accuse you of "Waving the Pom Poms" for LAC. Message boards that tout a particular stock with nothing but positive hope and propaganda are meaningless. It is important to see the warts as well as the advantages of an investment and you seem to relish in the warts re: LAC. Personally, I have always appreciated and still appreciate the informational and detail of your circumspective analysis, whether I agree with you or not.
I don't know if LAC will go down below $2 USD per share. Today's action on the NYSE would not be a validation or your premise on that sub $2 tumble for LAC, howver the latest spot price I have on the link I have previously provided here is $10,675 and that was for yesterday, 15 August 2024. Nothing for LAC owners to be happy about. Today's positive upturn in the share price (UP 15 1/2 cents USD to $2.5450 as of 12:28 PM Pacific Time today) may just be a fluke. Too soon to tell, but it is at least temporarily antithetical to the dire prognosis you have rendered to expect sub $2 a share USD. For now. Time will tell, but how much time, eh? Waiting has pretty much been the name of the game for long term LAC investors, wait... wait... and.... wait. It hasn't been a quick turn around investment, that's for sure. In the end, whatever "the end" is, it may turn out to be a very positive investment for the "Buy and Hold" crowd (I plead "guilty", but never my original intent). One factor may well be how much positive Press Jon Evans can inspire and uncover before the actual Thacker Pass Mine diggs it first metric ton of dirt to be processed in lithium carbonate. He will have to be somewhat of a magician in order to keep the sideline interest tipped in favor of jumping into the deep end of the LAC investment pool during the interim. Creativity is a must, even if it involves more than a little bit of "Hype" from him and the LAC PR Department. That and a combination of bouncing off the bottom and ascending back in a positive trajectory for the spot price of Lithium could amount to a 1-2 punch against the thesis of Sub $2 a share LAC. "Could" is an easy word to throw around, almost as easy as "Should". Reality is a much more difficult word to to achieve in fact vs in fiction. So, we are back to: "Time will Tell"
Best wishes, Pavel, and to all of the other LAC/LAAC investors.
Onward through the FOG!
