Message: Just one example of the kind of continuing technical advances with lithium-ion batteries as research never stops

Add to the pile of continuing innovation:  Indoor Solar Generation.  Yes, from indoor lighting!

Just one more "latest thing" to keep the fire burning for alternative electricity generation, generation that needs storage of that electricity.

Scientists' innovation for indoor solar cells maximizes the use of light energy (techxplore.com)

OK, it isn't like LAC just had a 300% jump in the share price, but it is somewhat better than a sharp poke in the eye.  Little things add up and we don't know when one of those "little things" will have a huge impact on lithium demand as a result of marked increase in alternative energy generation, whether that generation is solar, wind, geothermal, wave, off shore tide generated or whatever is the next "Best Thing" in the field fo alternative energy production.

Of course, so often we see some new technical development that has all the promise of changing the future when, for some reason or another, it goes the way of the 8 track tape.  But... not all of these "Best New Thing" ideas die on the vine.  Some of them actually do make it to production and out into the market place.  I have my fingers crossed that one or more of them that make the cut will result in a significant increase in lithium demand, around the barn, so to speak.
