Be sure to read closely the sections: "Is Cypess a takeover candidate?" and "The next steps."
Similar concerns exist re: LAC's Thacker pass, but not to the same degree. LAC gave up the farm re: Cauchari-Olaroz. Will they trade 100% at Thacker Pass for another 49% deal in order to finance Thacker Pass?
I know they say that they decided to back out of Cauchari-Olaroz because of an unstable political situation and in order to provide finances in order to put more focus on Thacker Pass, but I just hope they don't decide to whittle down below a majority ownership in regards to Thacker Pass.
In "The next steps" they talk about the necessity for confirmation of the processing and equipment portions of the acid leaching steps at Cypress. Well, LAC is doing the same thing, supposedly, at the Reno Processing Lab and LAC should be miles ahead in that department, but they sure have been close mouthed about it. A little bit more, nay.. a LOT more, information regarding the hoped for progress coming out of the Reno Processing Lab for LAC would certainly be welcome new. As for Cypress and their efforts to develop their own acid leaching process.
Cypress hired NORAM Engineering to conduct further work on lithium recovery.
