An example of the application of solar energy to transportation in the U.K.  There goal may not be all that ambitious ( 1 train in the U.K. out of every 10 to be powered by solar energy ) but nontheless it should have some impact on the future of transportation, just like short trip electric airplanes, electric boats, electric bicycles and scooters, etc.
