I think that the "magic formula" for how much alternative energy should be allocated from solar, how much from wind, how much from hydroelectric, how much from geothermal, how much from wave motion and how much from anything else they can come up with will strictly be relative to whatever the ambient conditions are in a particular locale and can not be over generalized. 

Just my opinion, and I don't know, Cal, that you and I are that far apart in that analysis.  What plays well in Cleveland may not last more than a single night on Broadway in NYC.
