Totally agree with that position, Cal, but the converse is true if someone is only Pro Coal and/or Pro Natural Gas.  We do need ALL energy sources, including the new ones... wind, solar, wave power and geothermal.  Every single one is important.  The energy being spent on the part of big coal, big natural gas and big pertoleum to belittle the new guys on the block is entirely wasted because those new sources are carving out their place on the totem pole as well and their place will be substantial in scope, more so as time moves on.  JMO   Okiedo
