New developements!  Toyota (Raymond forklifts) in Columbus, In. is advertising for a firmware engineer.  Currently Raymond is using Electrovaya's battery modules to assemble their new forklift batteries.  These batteries are so good that Raymond distributors around the world are interested in trying them out.  Electrovaya's battery modules have a built in BMS (battery management system) so if Toyota is going to develop their own BMS then it leeds me to conclude that they intend to start manufacturing the cells themselves.  This could be a licensing agreement, but I don't think so.  Electrovaya purchased a battery cell manufacturing line from a defunct Michigan battery plant.  They are refitting the equipment to manufacture their battery cell.  I had thought it might be a new solid state cell, but this latest developement now leeds me to believe it is their NMC cell.  I think we have a joint venture in the works.  I have been thinking along the line that LAC was going to be Electrovaya's partner.  Now this is far out speculation.....  Could it be a 3 way??  Toyota money, LAC lithium and Electrovaya the cell manufacturing process??  Looks like a GREAT Summer shaping up to me....
