"Faltering" is a relative term and when you  compare it to the growth rate in the U.S. then it is hard to say it is faltering.  The main question, of course, is how will the apparent slow down in the Chinese economy affect the mining industry in China and the demand for lithium?  What impact will that have on the overall world wide demand for lithium?  It may have little effect if the otherwise world demand continues to expand.
