Looks like the Mojave Desert fight over solar may be a little farther toward the goal post, but the same sort of arguments are used to try and derail that effort as are used elsewhere in Nevada to try and block multiple lithium mining efforts and wind energy developments.  Thacker Pass is only one of the battle grounds here in Nevada.

Will and Max are having a momentary respite from the cold weather up at Thacker Pass, but that respite will end brutally in the none too distant future when they have to put more logs on the fire just to stay warm as Winter returns to Thacker Pass.
