My reply to the topic of the same name posted earlier over on the Discussion Forum by Pavel.  I posted my reply here on the Off Topic Forum in hopes that it doesn't generate a long sequence of comments over at the Discussion Forum and that should a long sequence of posts follow that they would be posted over here on the Off Topic Forum instead.  That is my hope.  Reality might turn out to be quite different.  My reply:

Pavel, Please review "Rule 3" of the 6 Rules of Agoracom:

"3. OFF-TOPIC OR IRRELEVANT COMMENTS - Yep, nobody can believe what Donald Trump said today, or that Monica Lewinsky is more believable than Hillary, or the Dallas Cowboys keep crushing their fans (seriously though, it %*$#@ hurts). However, the main forums are not the place to discuss TV shows, politics or sports... O.K. maybe a little sports. Please use the Off-Topic Forums."

If reading that Rule as a once over skim did not focus your attention appropriately then let me zero in on the following exerpt of the Agoracom commentary about Rule 3:

"However, the main forums are not the place to discuss TV shows, politics or sports."

No one is prohibiting you from expressing your political views.  In my opinion, as a "Hub Leader" you are not setting a very good example by such blatant disregard for Rule 3.  PLEASE, take your present and future political commentaries that have no direct relevance to LAC, lithium products or the lithium mining industry over to the "Off Topic Forum" where they belong.

Please.  We all have strong political opinions and the Agoracom Discussion Forum is not the venue provided for those opinions when they have no direct bearing on the stated subject of the Discussion Forum.  

Folks, if we ignore the parameters requested for all Agoracom members and agreed to by all Agoracom members then all we have left is chaos.  It is too easy to step over the line, not just in regard to Pavel, but to all of us, myself definitely included.  The temptation to abuse this forum exists for all of us and I am no exception, but when that temptation is so strong as to be overwhelming then we need to take advantage of the release provided by Agoracom and just move those comments over to the Off Topic Forum.

For those who don't think that the 6 Rules apply to their own posts, let me suggest you return your posts to forums that are resplendant in the absence of decorum and that not only allow for personal attacks, but promote such occurence and where political discussions can at any time capture and kidnap the topic so as to put the purpose of the forum into jeopardy.  

JMO, I won't file a "Violation" complaint at this juncture.  My preference, instead, is that we transfer discussions of a truly political nature that are, in substance, devoid of a direct link to LAC, lithium mining and lithium products over to the Off Topic Forum, where they belong.  

I respect the fact that not everyone will agree with me on this matter, but keep in mind that the ultimate arbitrator of this type of situation is Agoracom itself as represented by the assigned Agoracom representative who monitors this and other Agoracom Discussion Forums.  He may or may not be guided by any past value that an individual member has contributed to this message board and might possibly be influenced only by a member's present posts.
