Good points to be aware of for sure Okiedo. As lithium continues to be a more and more critical component of the green energy transition, I do think we will continue seeing geopolitical pressures to control it. If LAC was like most JRs and had all their eggs in one basket, I would feel much more nervous right now, but since both locations have world class resources, the risk is greatly reduced IMO.

 

There really is no way to fully derisk. Having foreign assets will leave you at the mercy or national politics and geopolitical forces, and being domestic poses strict regulators and social perception risks.

IMO LAC is positioned as best they can.

We shall see. I appreciate the perspective and agree it's something as investors we should keep a close eye on.
