They have penetrated the materials handling business by partnering with the largest electric forklift manufacturer in the World?? NA anyway. They are building out the first US battery manufacturig plant in Jamestown NY which coincidentally is 4.3 miles away from a New Flyer electric bus OEM. Looking for an announcement about later December or January.
Todays rumor is that Toyota materials handling is coming on board with an expected announcement next week. https://agoracom.com/ir/Electrovaya/forums/discussion/topics/782017-breakout/messages/2365251#message
As for automotive OEM's, they won't pay for a 10,000 cycle battery cause they only want an 800 cycle battery. That way they can sell more cars. So Electrovaya has developed an 800 cycle solid state battery cell with 400Whr/kg that can be manufactured for about half the cost of their NMC cell. Remember the airplane article you posted a whilr back?? It said 400Wh/kg was needed to make electric airplanes viable!! That cell is due to go into pilot production in 2024.
Oh, they do have an OEM automotive Partner (Small) Vicinity Motors.
