MPH Ventures Expands Intersection on Raney Gold Project

Vancouver, BC – MPH Ventures Corp. (TSX-V: MPS) (FWB: IJA1) (the “Company”) reports drill core assay results from a hole completed by a previous operator of the Raney Gold Project in northeastern Ontario. While examining the core from drill hole RAN-08-04, an un-sampled section with appreciable quartz veining and sericite alteration was identified and sampled. The split section returned an assay of 14.38 g/t Au over 1.7 metres, and is contiguous with the historical intersection in hole RAN-08-04 of 2.76 g/t Au over 15.5 metres.

The new assay results combined with the historical assay results average 3.91 g/t Au over 17.20 metres. Individual sample results are include in Table 1. Photographs of the drill core for this intersection are posted on the MPH website.

MPH president Jim Pettit commented “The review of the work by previous operators has provided us with some very positive results within the early stages of the exploration program. The results demonstrate the exceptional exploration potential of the Raney project, with robust widths and grades. It is notable that only a couple of drill holes have ever tested this promising alteration system. At this point we have mobilized a drill to the property and look forward to future results from this intriguing property.”

MPH Ventures has commenced the drilling of 2 drill holes (Ran-09-06 and Ran-09-07) as step-out holes to the east and west on strike to the historic drill holes.

A drill plan providing the location of the historical drill holes is located on the MPH website.

The exploration program is being carried out under the direction of Todd Keast, PGeo. The information in this news release was prepared by Todd Keast, PGeo. a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.

The company has a quality control program to ensure best practices in the sampling and analysis of drill core. At the drill site, the BQ size core is placed in core boxes and delivered to a secure core processing facility. The core is "split" using a diamond saw by experienced exploration technicians and logged by Todd Keast. Half of the core is left in the core box as a permanent reference of the interval sampled and half of the designated sample interval is delivered in sealed bags for preparation at ALS Chemex Prep Lab located in Sudbury, Ontario, with the pulps shipped to ALS Chemex Assay Laboratory in Vancouver, B.C. All samples are assayed for gold by Fire Assay with an AA finish, using 30 gram samples. Accuracy of results are tested through the systematic inclusion of blanks and reference standards. ALS Chemex is an ISO 17025 certified Laboratory.

MPH Ventures Corp. is a gold and molybdenum exploration company focused on mineral development within Canada.
