MacDonald's current exploration strategy is to seek out Noranda-type copper-zinc-silver-gold volcanogenic massive sulphides (VMS), as well as a gold target identified from an alluvial gold train on the Ekwan River which are both located on MacDonald’s Big Mac block. There may be VMS deposits located on the MacNugget property. The properties are in the Attawapiskat Region of the James Bay Lowlands.
