The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday edition that Phases & Cycles president Ron Meisels believes Mag Silver is worth considering buying. Clea Simos writes in The Globe's BNN Market Call column that Mag Silver stock retreated 28 cents Wednesday to finish at 10.30. The stock has a 52-week range of $5.40 to $10.87. Mr. Meisels says: "Silver is starting to keep pace with and could overcome the gold sector. Mag Silver has just started to rise from a two-year base." In his general outlook Mr. Meisels says: "The markets have just completed a good up-move from the August lows. They needed a correction (pullback), which is now happening and may last till mid-December. Afterward we expect to see a continuation of the uptrend at least to the middle of the second quarter, and maybe longer, during which time they could approach their 2008 highs." The Globe's Scott Adams said Mag Silver had good profit momentum in the Number Cruncher column on Oct. 6. The stock could then be had for $8.05. The Globe's Gordon Edall recommended avoiding Mag Silver in the Number Cruncher column on June 3. In the item the stock, among others, was described as the "worst of the worst." It could then be had for $6.88.
