Assuming I'm correct about my previously estimated Feb/March 2014 FDA approval - I estimate MNKD needs another $275 to $300M until Afrezza sales are able to cash flow the MNKD operation.

10/11M per month for 13 months until FDA decision, assuming MNKD can make it till end of year with current funding and another $150M to gear up production and fund company until revenues from Afrezza start flowing in q3/q4 2014.

Now you know why the additional authorized shares were asked for.

Let's not be naive about how rozy things will be once Afrezza is approved.
